Selve stedet er fantastisk, personalet vennlig - når de er til stede - og frokosten kjempebra. Frokostsalen er en opplevelse i seg selv. Rett over vegen utenfor selve slottet og slottsparken ligger det et trivelig vertshus med god, ekte bayersk mat. (Det er ikke middagsservering hos Schloss Egg selv.) Parkeringsmulighetene var også gode, og haven/parken tiltalende. Vi delte den største suiten, med opptil tre soverom og to bad, samt spisebord og salong og plass i massevis. Et helt unikt tilbud til en overkommelig pris.
