Eastham was a good location and Provincetown Town was not far from there, which I liked. But after passing through Orleans on my way back from Nauset Beach I felt that Orleans would be suited for my needs.

I love Eastham. I've stayed there before. Lot's of nature walks beaches to visit. Kettle ponds. I don't need to do any shopping when I go on vacation. I just want to relax and enjoy the nature and beauty of the Cape. No need to rush. Enjoy the views.

Eastham is the gateway to The Cape Cod National Seashore and is a short drive to Wellfleet, Truro, and Provincetown. Motel/Hotel accommodations in Eastham along Route 6 are more affordable and reasonably-priced than those offered within closer range of Provincetown.
Staying in Eastham is convenient for a beach-lover’s vacation. During my Post-Labor Day visit, I visited a different beach each day , ending the day with dinner in Provincetown every night; followed by long walks up and down Commercial Street , for people-watching.
Best pick for fresh seafood dinner is Mac’s Fish House on ShankPainter Road in Provincetown.
Best pick for cozy ambience and classic Italian cuisine is Ciro & Sal’s on Kiley Court; off Commercial Street.
Best pick for eclectic seafood dishes and people watching is Bubbala’s on Commercial Street.
Not to be missed is Coast Guard Beach in Eastham, & Nauset Beach in Orleans; in spite of the presence of sharks(!)
The shuttle bus to Coastguard Beach enhances the experience of visiting one of the most unspoiled and beautiful beaches on the Outer Cape.
En route to Nauset Beach, stop off in Orleans at Howl Bookstore to pick up a book for beach reading and then get great coffee and a muffin to go at The Chocolate Sparrow; a much-loved Orleans coffee shop.
Head of The Meadow Beach in Truro and Race Point Beach in Provincetown are my two personal favorite beaches for their clear and calmer waters for swimming, and for the wind-swept beauty of the Provincelands Sand Dunes.
For shark-safe swimming after Labor Day; visit Corn Hill beach on the other side of Route 6 in Truro.
All in all, Eastham is a good location for launching your visit to the Outer Cape !
We stayed in the Captain's Room. The room was large and very rustic (which we loved). We enjoyed the jetted tub in the bedroom part of the room. The fireplace was a nice
addition to the romantic feel of the room. The bed was very large and very comfortable (I'm picky about a bed too). We loved looking at all of the art on the walls in the halls. The bar area was awesome. We opened a bottle of wine and sat near the fireplace and enjoyed looking out at the pond watching the rain.
Amazing little gem! Everything was wonderful and super comfortable. The room was clean, spacious and perfect for two. The staff was so nice and helpful, they also offered us chairs for the beach. The breakfast is amazing and really big. Recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cape Cod. Its good for both summer and winter because for bad weather it got an indoor pool and a fitness center. Will definitely come back!
This place was so cute and well-maintained. The room was comfortable and quaint. The breakfast was phenomenal and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We plan to visit again soon. The area has plenty of great restaurants and beaches. We enjoyed a long walk after breakfast down to the marshes near by. I would highly recommend this place to friends/coworkers/and family.
Loved the layout of the home-it was perfect for our family of four, but definitely large enough for six-for us, much better than a hotel stay. It was great to have central A/C, linens and nice appliances. The neighborhood was very nice and was in a great location, not far at all to beaches and the bike trail.
Loved all the ways you can get to and from your room made it so convenient with parking, also loved that you can get to the pool just by stepping out your hotel room. This was one of the cleanest pool areas I’ve seen at a hotel. The rooms were clean and updated. Will stay again when in the area.
The motel was renovated [but not throughout and partially with cheap materials (f.e. flooring) - it did not meet our expectation], room was spacy, convenient car parking infront of the room entrance, a good location to explore lower Cape Cod
Shout-out to Helen, the front desk employee. She made the stay so much better.
The hotel itself is decent and suits for a short stay to discover Cape Cod. If you plan to stay longer I advise to book elsewhere and get more comfort/luxury.
The rooms were nice- clean and the car close to my door- quiet but I also traveled off-season. Close to places to explore and enjoy the long walking path near the property. Happy to be pet friendly.
Location was great, very convenient, with easy access to Nauset Beach and the Cape Cod Rail Trail for biking. Good food right nearby, lots of stores. Had an excellent dinner at Bella Vita one night.
Super friendly stuff. Happy to help and advise nearby attractions and itinerarys.
Great location between Provincetown and Chatham. Near Nauset lighthouse and Orleans.
Family-run hotel.
Nice room.
The room was clean. There was plenty of space to walk your dog. I liked that our room was by the woods and that the hotel was not right on the highway. It's close to the ocean and other places.
Loved room but shower no hand rails so could not use, also stained w rust. Otherwise extremely happy w staff, bfast, bedding, quiet, nearby dinners at Brick House. Will definitely return!
For a cheaper Cape Cod option it serves its purpose. Staff were very accommodating and it was great to be able to use the Four Points facilities next door.
