By way of an example it gets completely locked up at 19:00 which is a little disconcerting at first. One thing we did like was the little tower terrace that you can sit on. It was superb watching the sunset from there. The owner let me put my motorcycle in the courtyard of the hotel which was good.

The location with the best sunset view on the lake Balaton was a 10 min walk away. Dog Beach (one of the very few beaches, where dogs are allowed) is a 5 min drive. The best ice cream parlor around is some 100m away. Quiet at night. Small but enough space, can park the car inside the property. We’ll definitely return.

The hosts are very reliable and they helped us to send some items back we forgot when we were leaving. Next time we will come to Fonyod we will book again for sure.
