Beautiful "hidden" jewel which definitely wort a visit.
Beautiful "hidden" jewel which definitely wort a visit. Visit the castel-area near the cathedral with its lovely colorful old buildings perfectly restored. Go at least once to the "Bono Publico" staircase which connects the old upper part of the city to the lower one: the staircase (an empire monument) can play music, and before starting climbing the stairs up or down, you can choose from a panel your favourite classical "track". The upper part of the city is full of traditional restaurants, pubs, pastry-shops and cafés where you can get to know the "real" czech cuisine and atmosphere. Finally, take a walk in the very large and fantastic green areas near the rivers Elbe and Orlice: one of the parks hosts an ancient beautiful church made entirely of wood!

Underated jewel in the Czech republic.
Underated jewel in the Czech republic. Not crowded with tourists. University town with a young vibe. Very walkable. Well preserved historic center. The surrounding new town has a number of architectural gems. from the the late 1800s and early 20th century. Well worth a visit.

This town is a hidden gem.
This town is a hidden gem. I come up there a couple times a year for business and I really like the place. Beautiful old town, good restaurants, and something cool off the beaten path. By the way, everybody knows the Czech Republic has good beer but it has really great food as well.

A modern buzzing city with a lots of history and natural beauty to offer. If you are on a business trip or leisure, there is always plenty going on. You can spend your time by relaxing walk around the two rivers that meet at Hradec. Other options would be visiting historical places inside and outdoor. Or prefer art, theathre or music? Help yopurself! Plenty great restaurants and bars to visit tool. Great beet frol local microbreweries. And if you have enough of the town head to explore the surrounding countryside. If you love mountain ranges or lakes and rivers surely you will find plenty of these to enjoy!

This place surprised me, and in a great way!
This place surprised me, and in a great way! It is not swarming with tourists, the air is that of a small town (not that sleepy but close enough), the city center and most importantly the Bono Publico were lovely!
We spent only 1 night but you can easily spend 2 if you want to check out the museums as well.
There are some cute coffee shops to try and a great cocktail bar with great cocktails and service (Blind Lion for the ones interested). Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere of the town and I would definitely recommend it to anyone, the prices are also cheaper than in most touristy cities.

The trip to nearby castle Hrádek u Nechanic was a fantastic, lovely place even with golf green , and in the historical center of the city there is very interesting White tower 72 m high renaisance tower newly reconstrueted in 2013-2015 - GREAT
We stayed in the DeLuxe suite and the size of the room was extraordinary – I would not expect how much this quality influenced my perception of the stay. If the hotel is excellent but the rooms are tiny (quite the usual setting), it is something completely different from what you can experience at Okresni Dům, where you have large square meterage and very high ceilings. We really felt royal – which we did not explicitly look for, but in the end it was the most important feeling our stay left in us.
Quaint hotel in the center of Hradec Kralove - just one street from the main square. Very spacious room for 4 persons. Buffet breakfast (cold cuts, veggies, fruit, eggs, pastry, oatmeal, cereal) in wine cellar which has a nice atmosphere. In the lobby there was tea available 24/7 and a few tables/couch where we could hang out and play cards in the evening. If you're looking for a place to stay that isn't fancy but cozy and rustic, I would definitely recommend it.
Top hotel in the center of Hradec Králové, yet in a very quiet location. Friendly and kind staff, beautiful rooms, everywhere clean. The accommodation price includes free entry to the hotel pool and sauna. Rich breakfast. Fast wi-fi. Highly recommended.
Hint: the hotel has a limited number of parking spaces; book your parking place already when booking a room.
Hotel offers decent rooms that are clean as expected, beds are good quality, owner and staff are friendly, have a personal touch, and can be flexible when it is needed. Breakfast is OK. If you like a 1970s music playlist at breakfast, 1980s furniture in your room and a 1990s color scheme in the carpets and curtains, then you've come to the right place.
This a brand new hotel, staff at reception are helpful and very professional. We ate in the restaurant on the first evening and the waitress had the most amazing cheerful disposition. Made the visit all the better. Food was very good too. Breakfast had a good choice. There are however a few negative points see below.
The property was very clean, and efficiently comprehensive in its design. The location is great, less than five minutes by walk to the city center, but far enough away from its noise to sleep well. This rental is perfectly situated to walk Hradec Králové's parks and river trails.
A very well appointed apartment in the very heart of Hradec Kralove. Nice and clean kitchen, shower, bath and washroom. Newly refurbished and feels new. Beautiful decorations on the walls and fast Internet. Very friendly host. Nice welcome gift!
A great place that I have stayed in before. Right in the main square of Hradec Králové. Nice building with nice rooms. This remains somewhere I would always book if staying in Hradec Králové.
It is fabulous and spacious apartment in the middle of Hradec Kralove city centre, nicely decorated and there is everything you need.
I stayed one day, but would have loved to stay longer.
Staff was extremely friendly, hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional! All this situated in the perfect location by a beautiful gothic cathedral!
Excellent, historical, but modern, facility, nice place, near the center of the old town, comfortable, parking, wifi, restaurant, good bear, wellness, I recommend.
