A traditional white village located about an hour from Malaga airport, by car. Plenty of bars and restaurants offering local fare and experience of local life. Shops are available, selling almost everything. Great for walks and amazing views of the mountains and down to the sea. Beaches about 30-40 minutes drive and many places of interest a short drive away.

Small arabian style old white washed town with lovely narrow...
Small arabian style old white washed town with lovely narrow streets and flowers all over the walls. Small enough to learn to know the whole city. Very clean overall. If you have the proper clothing, there is a nice route to nearby Puente Golgante el Saltillo bridge, which crosses the river Almanchares gorge. The weather was great.
The weather was great. Food shopping very easy with a stop off at Carrefour, exit 251 on the A7, before we arrived. Local restaurants, friendly with good food. Fantastic views, long walks, very quiet. Authentic Spanish casa. Short drive to the Lake. No internet was a very welcome break for us, didn't miss it a bit.
