We attended the Kala Ghoda Art Festival that was held from the 20th to 28th Jan2024. in Mumbai . It is an amazing festival that encompases all forms of art ......being cinema; poetry readings; crafts ;fine art ; classical indian dance forms ; great museums; walking tours of colonial buildings; street food tours and much more. The highlight for us was the nightly free live music concerts at an open air venue under perfect evening weather of Mumbai. These were all in the central Kala Ghoda area . The myriad of new age boutique eateries were a treat !
It is also very easy to get around these places using the popular local cabs or Uber .

Colaba Causeway thats where the buzz is ,
Colaba Causeway thats where the buzz is ,
Good and tasty food at 2 Restaurants behind the Taj Palace called A;lmedya ., Mumbai is easy accessible to other places , plenty of Taxis , and Tuk Tuks
Avoid guys waiting in the street to take you shopping , these guys have a deal with shop owners , every customer who buys from these shop owners , give the introducer 20% discount of the purchased amount.
You cannot negotiate a better discount by your self with shopowner ,because he has to pay the 20 % commission. Must negotiate price with taxis and Tuk Tuk ,before you get transported to your place of arrival

Busy country, lots of tricycle taxi. Affordable food.
Busy country, lots of tricycle taxi. Affordable food. But hotels are still quite expensive same prices with other countries. Not bad experience. It was just fine to go there do exam and come back 2 days max. The airport is very clean and nice. Easy to access taxi and food. But busy in the same time.

It is fast developing but retains the charm of the people.
It is fast developing but retains the charm of the people. We used Mumbai Magic for our tour guides and I cannot recommend them enough for tours of Dharavi, and also a historical tour of Mumbai. We also went to visit where Ghandi grew up. So much to see and do - we spent 3 days which was enough to get a good flavour of the culture, the people and of course, the wonderful food. You will not be disappointed and a most definitely recommend you spend some time is this wonderful city.
Absolute recommendation for a couple of days in historic Mumbai. The Residency is a very well run small hotel in central Mumbai. Most of the UNESCO heritage site and remainders of colonial Bombay are in walking distance. The hotel offers decent rooms with en suite bathrooms and a good breakfast. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and makes the most out of their hotel. Very good value for money. Hotel offers a pickup at the airport also in the middle of the night. Just ask the reception.
It was our second stay in Mumbai first time we stayed in the fort but linkway hotel was cheaper and also room in better condition, even though everything in Mumbai is more expensive than rest of India.
Staff was very nice. Room was small but clean and even had day light. Shower worked very well.
Location was very good. Very close to great restaurants, bars, shops... All just in front. Also very close to airport and Dharavi slum in case you plan a tour.
We would choose again this hotel.
Excellent staff - front desk manager Akshay was very kind and effective and made arrangements for family visit and adjoining rooms. Fiona Restaurant is top notch with excellent staff. Breakfast and dinner buffets are awesome. The hotel has a fantastic gym, spa, sauna and rooftop pool - we enjoyed it all. We also used their baggage storage service - excellent. The location is perfect - close to Times Square/great restaurant options and Mumbai international airport is 5-10 mins away.
The location is quite, for someone with sleeping problem, if the hotel at the crowded place, it will be a problem for me. But i can sleep well during my stay in Arnna Hotel. Its not far from train station and also near airport. The staff is really helpfull and nice. The staff who welcoming us (Rahit) when we arrive almost midnight is really helpfull. Another one is Shariq who also give us information about place to visit. Its makes our stay in Mumbai is fun.
The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Excellent bathrooms. There is a safe and a small fridge.
The rooftops restaurant is a definite plus.
The sea facing rooms have a wonderful view, but this does come at an extra cost. Be aware that being at the front means street noise.
We used the hotel's airport pick up service. The driver was waiting with a large comfortable vehicle.
Total lack of professional management from the standards of 5 star hotel. The scheduled check in in time was 2pm but we were not allotted the rooms till 5pm as the same was so called being “under sanitization’. There were more than 50 such guest screaming and shouting to no avail. I have never seen such mess and chaos in a 5 star rated property. Very disappointed.
The best 5 star hotel in Mumbai. Everything is perfect in terms of staff, cleanliness, ambience, rooms, food etc. Also, the housekeeping is also so friendly and cooperative. The experience was just seamless from check-in to check out. They had also planned a mini surprise for my birthday, which put in an extra smile on my face.
It was my dream to stay one night at St Regies n that came true...It's lavishing n glamourous with the marvellous ambience.....such an amazing n cooperative staff members n also the rooms are like so Spacious .....Best 5 Star hotel in Mumbai .....surely will visit soon again .
Staff were most accommodating. Facilities were 5 star, not sure why they are rated 4 star. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Rooms were spacious and clean. Shower was great. Loved everything about this hotel and its close proximity to the airport.
I have been staying here for the past 7 years, despite having options to stay at the most luxurious 5 star Hotels in the Fort area the Residency is my #1 choice!
The staff are like family the location is superb.
The Amber is undoubtedly the best in hospitality, Absolutely I will give 5 star to this place, Nice to place to visit with your family. Due to this you will also able to know what is Mumbai darshan.
Location is js 15 mins away from Airport...i would say the best hotel in Mumbai. They gave me an upgrade to suite room which is highly appreciated. We had a great breakfast too.
It’s is a nice property 5 star like.
But still didn’t seem like one and is Overpriced.
I have stayed in better places than this one for a far cheaper price.
