The place was so close to the beach which is what I love, to be as close to the sea as possible. The Lighthouse was also a walk away and it was so easy going up the 71 steps to the top to enjoy the beautiful view.
It was just unfortunate that we had bad weather and was not able to do all the things we planned to do. Theres a Parkrun every Saturday.

Beautiful little town, the weather was unfortunately cold and rainy but we still walked around and visited the Southern most tip of Africa. I see there is many tidal pools. Lovely restaurants with good food. The city was very clean and had everything you need for a stay. Good shop and even a pick N pay liquor store. We will be back in summer

We went primarily to meet a friend.
We went primarily to meet a friend. Apart from being the most southerly point in Africa, it doesn’t have much to recommend it compared to many other places. There are nice beaches and rocky shores and a small harbour, but many of those elsewhere. The lighthouse is worth a visit - but major construction taking place when we were there so no car park etc.. There are quite a few dirt roads in the area which, apart from offering a rough ride, make the car very dirty. The main access road is fine however.

The area. Agulhus it's self with its unique weather. We like the two oceans, lighthouse, tranquility, the friendly people, shopkeepers friendliness. Nice seafood.
A must to visit place.See you soon again.
We got a welcome message with all the required information.. This was good.. When we realized that the room allotted was a little behind, they offered to move us right in front.. That was very kind and it clearly showed the concern to ensure we were comfortable... We would highly recommend this place.. The view of the ocean and the lighthouse is fabulous and this is possibly the closest you can stay to the southernmost tip of the African Continent
On the day we arrived the weather had turned bad but the next day was glorious. The Nature Reserve with the beach boardwalk is 10 mins away and is highly recommended. The actual Southern Most Point is well worth the visit, as is the Lighthouse (71 steps on ladders to the top !) There are some great sea food restaurants within walking distance. The accommodation has a sheltered braai area on the veranda with a great view overlooking the bay.
It is a lovely apartment - very spacious with all the facilities we could wish for. The separate lounge/dining room off the kitchen is lovely and we enjoyed sitting in the courtyard. Our hostess went out of her way with unexpected extras that made us feel extremely welcome and looked after. We can highly recommend this stay and will refer anyone we meet going to Agulhas to stay at Tides' Song. Thank you.
The Ocean House is run by a lovely warm couple who treat all their guests like family. The location of the guest house and the view from the balcony are incredible. The furniture and decorations are tasteful and chic. The bed is so comfortable. The breakfasts are amazing. There is a wonderful lounge upstairs to read and work out of. I hope I get another chance to visit!
Hosts were really friendly. The house location is just minutes from the lighthouse and town restaurants in a lovely quiet neighborhood. The washer worked really well. The room was clean and comfortable with great touches. The host notified me of when loadshedding would be and left a charged light, in case I needed it. WiFi worked well enough to do video calls for work.
Superb hosts, couldn't have done more to make us comfortable. We were invited to a braai on the night we arrived which was excellent, and breakfast the following morning was also great. The apartment was clean and spacious, and the accommodation was in a nice location, overlooking the sea and a short drive to the few attractions around the Agulhas area.
We’ve come to Agulhas several times and have always eyed the Country Lodge, with its perfect location and charm. We finally decided to stay over the weekend, and loved it! The sea view from our room was spectacular, staff were pleasant and the breakfast was great. We’ll definitely be staying there again!
I enjoyed my short stay at Spookdraai B&B, the breakfast was great and the place was quite easy to locate, close to Agulhas and Struisbaai center. Marshall is a great host and chef, he was very kind, engaging, knows his stuff and enjoys his work which makes it pleasant to interact with him.
Amazing apartment on the L'Agulhas coastline. Fully equipped, with bedroom and separate living room with kitchenette. Tastefully decorated and modern, in prime location with restaurants and shops in walking distance. Fast internet, friendly hosts and fabourably priced. Highly recommended.
This was a perfect place to stay in Agulhas. Close to restaurants and most importantly the ocean. We felt very much welcomed, the room was very clean and spacious, with TLC touches such as coffee and other supplies. This is a first class operation and the hostess was great.
Excellent stay!! Wonderful hosts and even guests! Katja from Poland was "locked in" at Agulhas Ocean House during COVID for a long time. She was now back with her partner and part of the family as we also felt, although we only stayed for a day!
The view was terrific. Not particularly fancy but comfy and anything you could need was provided. The owners provided some great travel tips and we enjoyed a nice walk along the shore to the lighthouse.
Comfortable for an easy-going family. Beds were comfortable and clean. The location was excellent with both Struisbaai and Agulhas easy to reach. We loved having the washing machine available.
Excellent location right by the lighthouse.
Bathroom is very modern and neat.
Self catering facilities are excellent.
Cycling on nearby Struisbaai beach during low tide was a highlight
We spend a wonderful weekend, the location is just perfect, quiet, peaceful with a beautiful view on the sea and the lighthouse, lovely apartment, the host was so welcoming and helpful.
Our host Mandi gave us several recommendations for Struisbaai which was very helpful. The room was designed with so many nice details as the orchids above the bed.
