Gabicce Mare is a good basis for visiting Rimini, San Marino, Urbino, etc. The beaches are very well organized and comfortable (also, very near the hotel we stayed at). The restaurants are plenty and offer a choice of Italian cooking. Prices are moderate. Paid public parking is available in the streets around the hotel, but this can be difficult at times. All in all, very pleasant and relaxing stay.

Gabicce mare is a lovely and friendly little sea town, ideal for families with young children. If you get bored on the beach, I recommend sightseeing nearby towns (Urbino, Ravenna, Gradara, San Marino), boat trips or bike rides.

Joined friends from the California for a cycling trip. The Alexander Bike Hotel was great--friendly family owned hotel and who made us feel that we were part of their family. The bike staff were professionals in terms of setting up the bikes (which were included in the package), good routes and knowledgeable guides. The entire staff at Alexander were fun, food was delicious, the wine tour was a great group activity, fresh fruits, veggies, and fish on a daily basis.

The city is rather for the families and older people. It is not a loud city. No parties or entertainment around. Private beaches. A lot of streets to discover. Gabicce Monte the most beautiful view. The best ice creams near the port, natural.

One can reach the beach by a short walk ( because of the trees you walk in the shade). The staff is really lovely and caring, they booked 2 beach chairs in advance for us, but also helped with reservations for diner. Breakfast was very good and can be enjoyed at the terrace with sea view . The hotel has this typical Italian charm, we enjoyed our stay!

We are a family with a 4 month old baby and the host provided us with a microwave and electric kettle so we could easily sterilise bottles and prepare baby formula. We could wash the baby clothes in the washing machine too.There is free parking and a nice view from the property. We like to walk a lot and we enjoyed a daily walk down and up the hill (2km on way) to the quiet free beach in Gabicce Mare.
