Known as the City of Three Rivers, Passau is a beautiful German town in Lower Bavaria crossed by the Danube, Ilz and Inn rivers. Situated near the Austrian border, this university city is home to the biggest cathedral organ in the world with 17,774 pipes and 233 registers.
Built in 1688 by the Italian architect Carlo Lurago, the Baroque St. Stephen's Cathedral has frescoes and paintings by JM Rottmayr. Liikuimme kävellen, emmekä käyttäneet kaupungilla mitään kulkuneuvoja, koska halusimme heti matkalle lähtiessämme tehdä tututustumiskäynnit jalkaisin. Söimme hotellilla aamiaisen ja kaupungilla baarissa iltapäiväkahvin ja iltapalan.

Huone kiva ja sängyt ihan hyvät, mutta huoneessa kuuma, koska oli helle, eikä ollut mitään jäähdytystä. Ikkuna auki nukuttiin. Onneksi sen sai auki. Henkilökunta puhuu englantia.PasiSuomi

Hotellin henkilökunta oli ystävällinen ja reagoi nopeasti, kun huoneeni oven lukko oli rikki (sitä ei saanut kiinni). Sain kädenkäänteessä uuden huoneen.
