Es un poblet de la costa nord d' Itàlia molt típic.
Es un poblet de la costa nord d' Itàlia molt típic. Amb les casetes enganxades a la muntanya i a peu de mar, amb l'ambient mariner que ho impregna tot. Es molt agradable recòrrer els seus carrerons, tots i que cal estar en bona forma per la gran pendent i l'important nombre d'escales i esglaons que hi han.

Tanquilitat i poc soroll malgrat te l'estació de tren a 100 metres. Riomaggiore es una plaça semblant a Manarola i Vernazza per la quantitat de visitants amb molt moviment. Sense volguer-ho, ajudem a que la sensació que ens emportem és com molt atapaïda i amb quasi sofocant.
